Active Christian In a addition to public education, I am active in the education at my church, the Goodwood Church of Christ on Goodwood Blvd. I often fill in for the pulpit minister when he has obligations out of town. Lead singing and teach adult and teenage bible classes. I also spend a great deal of time teaching my own children to be leaders in the church. |

Recovering Alcoholic — I am a recovering alcoholic. Choosing to give up alcohol has made me a better Christian, father and teacher. While I do not condemn anyone who drinks alcohol, I had to make the First Step and admit that I am powerless over alcohol. Taking that first step has led me to a new way of life. God is now a part of my life even more than ever, I have a better relationship with everyone and I am committed to helping others take the Twelve Steps |
